Ugh...is this the section where I talk about myself for a bit? Yes? All right, I'll do my best to be somewhat interesting.

The man himself

My name is Jason Willard, though my internet handle has always been Wordslinger (with the occasional variation based on the availability of "Wordslinger" as a screenname).

I am, plainly, a geek. What is a geek? Well...

I can rearrange the fundamental building blocks of the universe in under six seconds, with enough time left to move 30 feet. I am capable of manipulating matter and energy on a subatomic level by speaking. A mere flick of my finger is sufficient to alter the gravitational pull of the planet. I shelve physics texts under "Fiction" in my personal library. I consider the Laws of Thermodynamics loose guidelines, at best. In short, I am grasping the reins of the universe's carriage, and every morning I wake up, look to the heavens, and shout, "Giddy up, boy!" The fires brought forth from the mighty magicks I will unleash here today have ne'er before been witnessed by mortal eyes. You may never grasp the complexities of what I do, but at least have the common courtesy to feign something other than slack-jawed oblivion in my presence. I, sir, am a geek, and I break more natural laws before breakfast than of which you are even aware.

I also dabble in writing, and someday hope to publish that ever-elusive story to end all stories. I have several short stories which I'll probably post eventually on the blog, so let me know what you think! Be brutally honest, otherwise you'll be damned to Tartarus!

An aspiring movie buff, I take great pride in tearing movies (even good ones) a new asshole. Critiquing movies is definitely a passion of mine and I'm a big fan of all genres. Check out my critiques and see if my opinions hold water or not.

I'm also an actor (not a very good one...), beginner carpenter, beginner electrician, beginner auto mechanic...actually you can just consider me a jack of all trades, master of none. I have a long list of beginner-level practical skills and strive to expand that list whenever I can.

As the old saying goes: Knowledge is Power!
